Who we are
This site is run by S0ltea (Pty) Ltd, 4 Berzelia Crescent, Sunningdale, 7441, Cape Town, South Africa. You can write to us at hello@extendtouristvisa.co.za.
What we collect, and why
Your email and your two visa dates, when you ask for your deadline. We use them to work out your date and email it to you. Giving them is your choice; without them we cannot send your result.
Reminders. Because you asked for your deadline, we email you a few times before it, about your dates only. Every reminder has a link to stop them.
If you pay: the date, the amount, and the payment reference from Payfast. We never see your card. Payfast handles it on its own pages.
How the site is used. We use Plausible, which counts visits without cookies and without following you across sites. We use Sentry to see errors in the site. Neither receives your email or your dates.
If you pay, you type the names, passport numbers and dates of birth of the people on your file. We use them once, to make your PDF and letters. We do not keep them. They stay on your phone. We never ask for your documents. Your papers stay with you.
Where your data goes
We use a few companies to run the site. They keep your data for us and do nothing else with it:
- Supabase (database) — Ireland, European Union
- Resend (email) — Ireland, European Union
- Payfast (payment) — South Africa
- Vercel (hosting) — United States
- Sentry (errors) — European Union
- Plausible (visit counts) — European Union
The European Union protects personal data at least as well as South African law. For Vercel, our contract with them requires the same protection.
How long we keep it
If you only asked for your deadline, we keep your email for 6 months after your last visit. Then we replace it with a code that cannot be turned back into your address, and we keep the dates and the result for our statistics.
If you paid, we keep your account as long as you use it, so you find your case again on your next trip. After 5 years without a visit we do the same: your email becomes a code, the rest stays. Payment records stay for as long as South African tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@extendtouristvisa.co.za and we do it. One limit: the record of a payment must stay, by law, without your name or email. You can stop reminder emails with the link in any reminder.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
